We have reached the half way point of our MCC journey. We have completed well over 1100 miles and are easily on track to complete our target amount of miles which is 2019. Below are a few more photos of Adrian of manager completing some of his miles whilst mountain biking in Menorca. We are only half way however. Still half our journey left and we look forward to raising more money the Master Cutler’s Challenge and two wonderful hospices that it is supporting.
This week on the 7th February 2019, the official Master Cutler’s Challenge launch event took place. Although we have already started to complete our miles towards and raise money, our official journey starts now. The closing event is the 20th September 2019, which gives us around 8 months to complete our miles and raise more money for the Challenge. It’s just the start of the Challenge but our team are going to raise money for this great cause, and have fun doing it.
At 121 IT Services we like to do our bit for Charity. This can involve anything from simply donating money or making ourselves look silly by competing in funny challenges. Therefore in 2019, we have decided to take part in the Master Cutler’s Challenge. Along with many other organisations, we will be competing to see who can turn £50 into the most money for St Luke’s Hospice and Rotherham Hospice. The challenge runs throughout 2019, culminating in a dinner at Sheffield’s prestigious Cutler’s Hall in September where winners will be announced in several categories.
One of our money raising ventures our team will be carrying out is to travel 2019 miles during the 2019 challenge period. This will be either swimming, cycling, running or walking.
Please follow our blog and social media to keep up to date. And have a few laughs at our expense!
The Master Cutlers Challenge does not officially open until the 7th February 2019, however, we can’t wait that long and want to get raising money as soon as possible. 121 IT Services launch our fundraising on the 20th of December when our Managing Director, Adrian Lane, will be taking part in ProAktive Pedallers’ bike ride dressed in a full Santa outfit, with his bike decked out with Christmas decorations and lights. We would invite you to support our launch by giving a donation on our Virgin Money Giving page: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/121ITServicesMasterCutlersChallenge and sharing the link with your friends on social media.
