We like it.
It is now over a month since Microsoft rolled out the Windows 10 upgrade. It is reported that over 75 million users in 192 countries are running the new Operating System (OS).
Computer users running Windows 7 or 8 (or 8.1) will most likely have the “Get Windows 10” icon encouraging them to register, reserve and upgrade. Should they?
In our opinion Windows 10 is a good OS. We have trialled the beta versions and upgraded machines from Windows 7, 8 and 8.1; and we have carried out fresh installations. Any problems experienced were minor.
Unlike Windows 8, user experience is positive with the look and feel of Windows 7 on a desktop or laptop/netbook, but with the added features to make it tablet and mobile friendly. A true cross platform OS to rival Apple OSx and Google’s Android.

As ever, corporate IT environments vary depending on many factors; therefore we will be recommending upgrades to our contract clients on a case by case basis.
